The O.C.I.A. (formerly R.C.I.A.). is the process through which non-Baptized adults are initiated into our Catholic Faith through the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist. 

There are four stages of R.C.I.A. in which one participates: Inquiry, Catechumenate, Enlightenment, and Mystogogy. The length of time before being fully initiated may vary from six months to three years or longer depending on the needs of the individual. It is a process of discerning where and how one finds God in one's life and a time of building a relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church.
